Welcome to my Korea blog!

My name is Julie and I am an exchange student at Korea University from August 2013 - June 2014, as well as a student ambassador of the UK Student Mobility Awards 2013.

The title of this blog: Yeo Haeng Gi (여행기), means 'Travel Log/Book'. It is a meaningful title to me mainly because it is the name of a song sang by the very first Korean boy band that I got me into Korean culture: Dong Bang Shin Ki, also the track is one of my favourites. Furthermore, the title seemed the most appropriate due to the content that I will be writing on here.

This blog is basically an online log that details the journey of my study abroad experience through words.
Apart from just recording down my time in Korea as a personal momento, I will also include useful information about studying abroad in Korea as well as adapting to Korean culture. I hope that this blog will be helpful to prospectful international Korea University applicants, and perhaps applicants to other Korean Universities also, as I aim to explain the application procedures, module enrolment processes and so forth.

I also have a photo blog on tumblr which focuses more on visual content as opposed to word.
Unfortunately am I too busy nowadays to update my photo blog, so now I will focus more on this blog as well as making videos for my YouTube channel.

Feel free to contact me by commenting somewhere on this blog or on Twitter!
